Accommodation description
Do enjoy a great vacation in this comfortable holiday apartment, located in Mauerbach in Lower Austria, on the outskirts of Vienna in the western part of the Vienna Forest. The apartment is modernly furnished and features a living room with a dining table, a fully equipped kitchen, two spacious bedrooms, a bathroom with a hot tub, a separate toilet and a washer and dryer. The outdoor pool is in the enclosed garden (used from May to September). Parking is available directly under the carport
The small and charming town of Mauerbach is located just 15 km from the Austrian capital, Vienna, in the middle of the Vienna Woods Biosphere Reserve. The incredible wooded landscape with numerous beautiful hiking trails and cycle routes is perfect for an excursion, a break or a short holiday. The Mountainbike Trail Centre Vienna is in the immediate vicinity, where even experienced mountain bikers can get their money's worth. Mauerbach and the surrounding area have numerous restaurants and bars, supermarkets and other shopping facilities such as the Auhof Center Vienna shopping centre.

In summer, the public outdoor swimming pools Wienerwaldbad in Purkersdorf, Höpflerbad in Vienna, the outdoor pool in Pressbaum and the bathing pond in Laxenburg with three jetties, two beach volleyball courts and 17,000 m2 of sunbathing area offer plenty of bathing fun! For a relaxing wellness experience all year round, visit the Therme Wien Oberlaa, featuring various pools, a 3,000 m2 sauna area and a separate children's section. Alternatively, explore the Römertherme in the beautiful city of Baden, which offers 900 m2 of water surface pools and various saunas, steam baths and infrared cabins. Both thermal baths can be reached by car in 30-45 minutes.

There is a bus stop directly in front of the house, and the nearest underground station (Hütteldorf station) is close by (appr. 5 km), which offers a Park & Ride with a direct connection to the underground station!

Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine.
